Designed by Anderssen & Voll
When we edit a text, we read it, polish it, remove an adjective and an adverb, and then we have the perfect sentence. Very few elements, yet an essential beauty. Like that of the new EDIT armchair, a contemporary reinterpretation of a modernist classic, ideal for the fluid spaces that now merge the office with the home. The Nordic minimalism of Anderssen & Voll is complemented with sinuous Italian lines with extraordinary comfort. Its backrest is a mountain range that protects the body, whereas its shell is a generous sea of softness. With all its components, all recyclable, from the polyurethane shell to the foam upholstery, Lapalma expresses its love and respect for that immense and highly diverse landscape that is the Earth.

Anderssen & Voll is an Oslo based designstudio run by Torbjørn Anderssen (1976) and Espen Voll (1965). Torbjørn is graduated from The Bergen Academy of Art and Design and Espen is graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. As cofounders of Norway Says in 2000, they were forerunners in a emerging international movement amongst young Norwegian designers. Since the startup of Anderssen & Voll in 2009, their work has spanned from textile design through tableware, lighting and furniture to electronics for some of Europe’s most renowned international design Brands.
